BSN Day of Service: Philadelphia Edition TiCKET

$40.00

Join the Black Sewing Network for our International Day of Service – Philadelphia Edition! This event brings together sewists, crafters, and community members to make a tangible impact through the power of sewing.

This year, we’re partnering with the PASHI Period Project, an initiative dedicated to providing menstrual care essentials to those in need. Our shared goal is to create at least 100 wet bags and raise $3,000 to support their ongoing outreach and education efforts.

During this hands-on service event, attendees will:
Learn how to sew wet bags for the PASHI Period Project
Participate in a fabric collection drive (please bring cotton, quilting cotton, or Ankara fabrics only)

Connect with fellow sewists and volunteers committed to community care
Enjoy light refreshments in a creative, collaborative space
- Dietary Restrictions:
Light refreshments will be provided. Please include any dietary restrictions or food allergies in your order notes during checkout so we can plan accordingly.

Please bring your own sewing machine, tools, and notions. A limited number of shared supplies will be available for use on-site.

The Philadelphia event will be held at a Black-owned, woman-owned studio located off of City Ave and Haverford Ave. The space is fully accessible and on one level for easy machine transport.
